Moisture and thermal insulation: A very low OHTC of <0.12 W/m²*K can be achieved using TEKOFIX consoles which heat bridge-free.
BEMO roof systems are designed individually to meet the needs of the building.
Depending on the type of insulation package, BEMO façade systems achieve thermal transmission values of <0.12 W/m²K.
The material used in the substructure are an important factor in thermal insulation. It should have a very low thermal transmission value. Frequently used materials such as aluminium with min. 160 W/(m*K) and steel with 50 W/(m*K) have very high thermal transmission values and should be kept to the absolute minimum. We use a substructure with very low thermal transmission value in order to achieve the best results. Our TEKOFIX wall consoles with a thermal transmission value of 0.35 W/(m*K) create practically no heat bridges. This has very little influence on the function of the insulation layer and improves thermal insulation performance by up to 75%.
In the case of very high thermal insulation requirements, we recommend back-ventilated curtain façades (VHF) with the largest possible percentage of soft insulation using non-thermally conductive BEMO TEKOFIX consoles.
A back-ventilated curtain façade offers the perfect solution to moisture protection. The back-ventilated layer leads off moisture, which can diffuse through the assembly by diffusion, safely and permanently; precipitation can also penetrate the façade cladding joints.
We will be happy to carry out all calculations and verifications for moisture and thermal insulation, above all for “climate-critical” buildings.
