Then there are technical requirements such as windproofing, optimised thermal insulation and moisture protection. Metal façade with freedom in shape, colour, and material

The wide variety of BEMO surfaces allows for great design possibilities without compromising material quality, optics, or product longevity. BEMO also offers an incomparably wide range of colours for your metal façade. You can achieve your special design effect with your own designed colour! You can freely mix these yourself in a colour laboratory, under the guidance of colour experts. We then use your personalised shade in the products for your custom façade.

High-quality aluminium alloys are the main focus of the BEMO product range. The aluminium is 100% recyclable, safely formable and corrosion resistant. Painted, stucco embossed, natural or pre-weathered.

All BEMO solutions are also available in steel, stainless steel, copper, and titanium zinc. The materials can also be combined within the same project. Choosing the right surface for metal profiles for metal façades enhances the visual impact of the base material and provides it with lasting protection against environmental influences.

What are the advantages of a metal facade?

The appearance of metal is not only convincing on the roof. The metal facade is also an eye-catcher and has even more advantages: due to its resilience and protective layer, it is extremely durable and low-maintenance. At the same time, the metallic facade system can be used in a variety of ways and is by no means monotonous: whether made of aluminium, steel, copper, lead, and titanium zinc - the metal facade can be used in various shapes and patterns. In addition, it is particularly energy-efficient, as the facade system is installed as a ventilated curtain wall. Due to its unique nature, it is windproof, thermally insulating and offers ideal protection against moisture.

Does the metal facade need to be insulated?

A metallic facade is the ideal building envelope. In addition to its long service life and flexibility, the metallic facade offers optimal thermal insulation as well as:

  • Sound insulation
  • Noise protection
  • Fire protection

For the insulating properties of the metal facade to be noticeable, basic insulation and thermal bridge-free installation are required. The greatest possible added value of the metal cladding can be achieved by using suitable facade systems.

Can the old facade be covered with a new metal facade?

In principle yes. A metal facade is usually mounted on a substructure system that is firmly anchored to the building structure. If the old facade is still stable and the statics allow it, the substructure system can be mounted on the old facade, giving the existing facade a new cladding.

How long does a metal facade last?

A metal facade is characterised by its stability and easy cleaning of the metal cladding. With appropriate facade systems and their special properties, it not only stays clean for longer, but also protects the building from wind and weather. Due to the complete production and assembly of the metallic facade directly on site, you can assume the highest quality standards.
